Mr. Hisham Alwindi is an independent political activist and a consultant for ´Towards National Reconciliation in Libya´, a project sponsored by UNDP and UNSMIL that aims to develop an inclusive national reconciliation strategy to strengthen the bottom-up process underway in the country.
 
Mr Alwindi is also an independent participant in the Libyan Political Dialogue, where he focuses on issues of political parties and independent tracks to assist parties to reach agreements on overcoming the political and institutional crisis. Mr. Alwindi has spoken on a number of expert panels exploring political processes, democratic transitions and human rights and is Cofounder of www.yourvote.ly.
 
Mr. Alwindi has also taught at Tripoli University.
